Our last lamb for 2008 was born at 9.15am on the 26th June.He is a Charolais X tup born to a Herdwick ewe.
This photo was taken just 15 minutes after he was born.
He is now running around with our other Herdwick Tup born earlier this year.
Herdwick sheep are very protective of their off-spring -
A native breed of Cumbria and once a breed adopted by Beatrix Potter who championed their revival.
